Corporate Apartment Specialists, Inc. (CAS) is excited to be sponsoring this year’s Earth Day events at the Arlington Arts Center.  Activities include storytelling, soil exploration, discussions about pigments and hands-on art projects using different types of clays, chalks, paints and other “earthy” media.  “Corporate Apartment Specialists is happy to be able to give something back to the local community in which it operates” says Ned Scharpf, President.  “This year’s Earth Day events will help people of all ages become more connected to the land in which we all live” added Ned Scharpf.  The AAC is a community-based, private, non-profit arts center supporting new work of regional artists from the Mid-Atlantic States.  The AAC hosts a myriad of education programs serving local children.  The AAC also provides subsidized studio space for local artists and exhibitions of their work.  Its goal is to increase awareness and appreciation of, and involvement in, the visual arts in Arlington County, VA and the region.
